The Dignity Cover has been designed to reduce exposure and keep modesty intact when a care home resident is raised with a hoist. When they sit in the sling, their legs separate and this can lead to a loss of dignity.
The Dignity Cover is an accessory which attaches to any hoist sling and covers the lower body. It can be used anywhere the hoist is required and is easy to remove in case of emergency.
We recommend that one Dignity Cover is used per person to comply with Health and Hygiene Regulations and avoid cross contamination. Each Dignity Cover has a label with space to identify the user.
Made from non-friction material,the Dignity Cover is water resistant, easy to wipe clean, washable on a 60 degree cycle and comes with its own storage bag.
