Sensory Snap is a new tactile association game created to stimulation multiple senses and encourage conversation for people living with mid-late stage dementia.
How It Works
Sensory Snap is a tactile game with a purpose, feel and match the tiles to the images or group the tiles together based on association. Players are thereby encouraged to create new associations or may simply wish to feel and discuss the textures. This type of activity is used in cognitive stimulation therapy which has been proven to be a powerful tool in the care of people living with dementia.
The product can also be used as a simple tactile product to stimulate the senses of people living with later stage dementia.
The Sensory Snap tiles are durable and easily cleaned, making them popular in profession care settings as well as in the home.
