Our new One Button Analogue Radio is the ideal solution for people with memory problems or dementia, those with poor coordination, dexterity problems, or partially sighted people who find operating standard radios difficult or confusing.
People living with dementia and their carers reported to us the challenges they face in continuing to enjoy listening to the radio.
The complexity of controls and the ease with which it is possible to de-tune the radio and end up with the distressing white noise that occurs between stations, often results in individuals giving up using their radio at all.
We decided to design a simple design to allow easy use and protect against accidentally de-tuning.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Easy one button operation
Can be easily set to the preferred station and volume using the two main control dials
Control knobs can then be removed, safely stored in the rear compartment of the radio
Magnetic cover can be placed neatly on top of the control panel, ensuring your settings stay in the right place
Radio can then be switched on and off by pushing the large button on the top of the radio
Retro familiar style
USB port to play your favourite music
Battery operated or mains powered
