This attractive, lightweight, self propel wheelchair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It has a host of features including a robust aluminium frame with a half-folding backrest, quick-release footrests and rear wheels that make it easy to fold for storage or transportation. The nylon seat and back plus full-length armrests with upholstered arm pads are comfortable, supportive and easy to clean. The chair is supplied with a lap belt for increased user safety.
The footrests are height adjustable without tools to one of five positions for optimum user comfort and can be swung away to facilitate transfers. The 61cm (24") aluminium rear wheels with a durable hand rim have grey pneumatic tyres which allow a smooth independent ride for active users and help to keep the weight down. The front wheels are made from solid, low maintenance, puncture proof, polyurethane (PU) tyres. Rear stepper tubes help an attendant to mount kerbs safely.
