The Fall Savers Passive InfraRed (PIR) bedside monitor uses infrared detection technology to detect when a person gets out of bed. As soon as the sensor picks up motion, the monitor emits an alarm tone to alert the carer.

This monitor can be mounted on a door or by the bedside to trigger an alert when a person breaks the infrared beam. The Infrared Monitor is a great alternative for when carers determine that the use of sensor pads is undesirable. Battery or mains powered, the Fall Savers® Infrared Monitor is versatile, simple to set up and easy to use.

Local or remote alarm options allow for the alarm to sound locally on the monitor itself or remotely through an existing nurse call system or portable pager (nurse call cable and pager optional).

The Fall Savers Infrared Monitor is supplied with a swivel bracket for easy mounting and adjustable positioning.

An optional C-clamp extension bracket is available for mounting to a bed frame as shown in the picture.
