Perhaps you can’t get out and about the way that you used to, but you can still move around in comfort with this stylish self-propelled wheelchair that comes with a host of attractive features. These include footrests which swing in and out and flip up, plus removable armrests to facilitate transfers on and off the chair. The height and length of the padded armrests are also adjustable at the push of a button and allow unhindered access to work surfaces. The chair also has a seat cushion and tension adjustable backrest which you can adjust for optimum comfort.
Safety comes as standard. The rear wheels have long reach parking brakes which both the user and attendant can access easily, while rear stepper tubes with integrated, height adjustable, anti-tip wheels make the chair safe to climb curbs. The chair is also fitted with a one-touch lap belt for extra user stability and reflectors to ensure visibility outdoors in poor light or when it’s dark. This wheelchair has even been crash tested providing added safety when being transported in a vehicle.
The silver aluminium frame is lightweight yet robust and the half folding back mechanism makes it easy to fold down for storage and transportation. The rear wheels are quick release while the solid Polyurethane tyres are puncture proof, durable and low maintenance.
