A daily concern for all carers, in the home or a healthcare setting, is to minimise the risk of wandering and falls. Placed by the bed or in the doorway, the TreadNought® Hybrid Floor Sensor will activate an alert when a person steps on to the pad so the carer knows that they’re moving about.

High quality, hard-wearing and built to last, the Hybrid Floor Sensor can be connected directly into most nurse call systems using a wired pigtail lead (purchased separately). Alternatively, the sensor can be used with the Fall Savers Floor Pad Transmitter to activate an alert wirelessly on the Fall Savers Monitor.
