The large, uncluttered face and use of clear black numbers and hands make this clock easy to read. A high contrast yellow face is available for those with more limited vision.
Yellow is the most visible colour to the human eye. Along with green, it sits in the middle of the colour spectrum between the longest and shortest wavelength colours, red and violet. Our eyes are most sensitive to these central colours making them the easiest to see.
